FIGURE 8 LINK
Prepare materials to make Figure 8 Link; beads, round nosed pliers, flat nosed pliers, diagonal cutters, and 20-gauge nickel silver wire. By using cutter pliers, cut five pieces of wire that are 5 inches each. Take one piece of the wire and position it on the wide part of the wire with round nose pliers. Construct the figure 8 shape; Take about an inch and wrap the wire around the pliers in order to make a hook; Place the pliers at the base of the loop and bend wire around
the pliers to build a corresponding loop. Make sure that one strand of the loop is on the opposite sides of each other. Repeat these processes with other pieces of five inch wires. Add beads into the long wire, firmly hold the middle part of the 8 figure with flat nose pliers, and wrap the wire around the loop. Then cut off the excess wire and push the sharp end inward to create a smooth link. Trim off the other end of the wire with the cutter pliers. Then create the fish hook clasp; make the basic eight shape and connect it to the link; take the excess wire, wrap around the clasp and cut off the rest. Afterward, make the hook clasp; prepare a piece of wire, bend it and crimp the wire down; bend the wire the other way in 45 degree angle and reverse the bent with the round nose pliers. Attach the hook clasp to the figure 8 links and continue making the figure 8 links.
