EGYPTIAN NECKLACE
Prepare materials to make Egyptian Link; round nosed pliers, flat nosed pliers, diagonal cutters, silver wire and etc. The first step is to cut five and a half inches of metal wire and four or five pieces at a time. Take the wire and fold it in half and place on the round nosed pliers where the curve is. Hold firmly and crimp it to create a loop by using flat nosed pliers. Make sure the ends are even. Position the pliers at the bottom of the loop and gently bend the wire to about a ninety degree angle. By using the flat nosed pliers, start coiling the wire in a spiral direction from the bottom without space between the spirals. The wire should be coiled about half an inch up from the base of the spiral to the top of the loop. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the wire. Then Interlock link together after making four or five pieces; Line them up like they are chairs, take the link, plug the link from one hoop into the other link, slightly bend it with the flat nosed pliers in order to lock together, and press down by gently using your fingers. The reason why you gradually bend it down using your thumb is to keep the flexibility without the wire getting stiff. Repeat these steps to complete making entire necklace.
